New: ELISA for detection of FSAP Marburg I variant
In May 2009 American Diagnostica launched its novel FSAP Marburg I variant ELISA.
This ELISA allows to detect the Marburg I variant at the protein level by classical ELISA technique.
This is less demanding than the current molecular biological procedures required to determine the variant allele at the genetic level.
The assay requires platelet-poor citrated plasma and can be completed within 3.5 h.
